Gee it is almost 2020? Where has all the time gone? I keep forgetting that I have this blogger site and I sure could have used it over the past few years to relieve a lot of stress off my mind. It seems to help to write when I am feeling worthless and unwanted.
Well over t;he long time until now a lot has happened in my life. I lost my best friend to cancer, I lost my brother to cancer and I have become so disabled that I am not able to even clean my own house.
When I was younger it seemed that time went so slowly, now it flies by so fast I can't even blink and we are finished with another year.
I wonder if I am the only one who thinks that from Thanksgiving to Christmas is just not enough time? I haven't decorated for Christmas in years but love to see all the other lights around town. It seems that people complain if lights and decorations are put up before Thanksgiving but if you wait until after then there is only a couple of weeks to enjoy the beauty of things.
This year I have seen only about 30 or 40 places that have decorations up. One place that was really lit up was one of our local factories and every tree that they have on their property is lit from the bottom to the top... so bright and beautiful.
My mom used to take us to see the lights in different towns and we also used to walk around town with other people caroling and now that just doesn't happen anymore.
I pray that the new year coming goes slower and great things happen in every one's life. Slow down if you can and enjoy life, tomorrow is never promised.
